Organic Toddler Formula
What are some good sources for ARA and DHA for babies over one year who are not drinking formula anymore?
I'm a first time Mom, and I want to try to do everything right that I can, so I have a nutritional question for you all...
What are some good sources of DHA and ARA for toddlers? I took Expecta Lipil the whole time that I was pregnant (from the day that I thought I might have conceived) all the way through breastfeeding, and then made sure that my daughter drank a formula that had the highest amounts of DHA/ARA that I could find, since both are supposed to support visual and mental development.
Now she is off formula and drinking whole cow's milk (Horizon Organic Whole Milk), and I am afraid that she is not getting enough of these two fatty acids (Omega 3 and 6).
I know that salmon is a good source of Omega 3's, and she loves wild alaskan salmon, but what are some other sources?
Common dietary sources of DHA and ARA include eggs, meat, and fish, primarily oily fish like salmon, tuna, and sardines for DHA.
Basically all proteins contain some fatty acids that are converted to DHA and ARA. Babies can't eat nuts, but you can try peanut butter, also.

Express Microwave Steam
Can I get some feedback on people who use or who have used the Avent Express Microwave Steam Sterilizer?
THANKS!
I don't have a preemie. I thought it might be faster and more convenient then boiling them
I always worry about the dishwasher, just in case some soap residue is left behind or something.
I used this from the time my baby was 8wks untill 4 months found it really good and quick, can do other brand bottles aswell, just be careful opening it after its been used alot of steam comes out.

Washable Reusable Breastfeeding
Buying breast pads - Washable or Disposable?
I am 37 weeks and getting the final things I need for the big day and beyond. I am planning on breastfeeding and today I purchased a box of Reusable, washable breast pads. Is there a difference in quality or ease between reusable, washable breast pads and the disposable ones? I figure, I'm gonna be doing laundry all the damn time now anyways so I'll be able to throw the pads in the wash but I wanted some other mom opinions. Thanks ladies!
I used both washable and disposable. I used washable for at home, since they tend not to absorb as much as disposable. I used disposable for when out and about. They seemed more discreet to me as well as more absorbent.
