What to get for my new baby niece?

my sister-in-law is about to have her 4th baby (2nd girl) and I wanted to get or make her a gift for the new baby...but I don't know what to get her because she should already have all the baby stuff she needs considering its her 4th kid. I had an idea to make her homemade bibs, but I don't know if she would use them or not...any other ideas?

Is it a sin to sacrifice a small animal to atone for my sins?

I know there are other ways to atone but If I choose to practice the older ways God wont be angry will he? He has ordered that such sacrificing be done before so it couldn't be a sinful practice could it?

I suppose you're trying to be funny, but it's actually Christianity that you're mocking. Jews have never believed that sacrifice was the only way to atone for sin.

God holds each person responsible for his/her own actions. Indeed, even the person who sins is not necessarily doomed: “But if the wicked person turns away from all the sins he has committed and keeps all My statutes and does what is right and just, he will live; he will not die. None of the transgressions he has committed will be counted against him. By virtue of the righteousness that he has done, he will live. According to Christian doctrine, man cannot merit salvation through his own repentance. Atonement comes only through the shedding of innocent blood. Throughout the seventh chapter of Jeremiah, however, the prophet proclaims the very opposite message on atonement. Over and over again, Jeremiah loudly declares that God does not want blood sacrifices but rather repentance alone for man's grievous sins.

In the 18th chapter of Ezekiel, the prophet was teaching his people a fundamental biblical principle: A righteous person cannot die vicariously for the sins of the wicked. This notion was identified as thoroughly pagan and was to be avoided by the Jewish people at all costs, and is taught emphatically throughout the 18th chapter of Ezekiel. In verses 20-23 the prophet declares that repentance alone provides full forgiveness of sin. Never are blood-sacrifices or the veneration of a crucified messiah mentioned throughout Ezekiel's thorough and inspiring discourse on sin and atonement.
Ezekiel's teaching was not new. The Jewish people were warned throughout the Torah never to offer human sacrifices. When Moses offered to have his name removed from the Torah in exchange for the sin that the Jewish people had committed with the golden calf, the Almighty abruptly refused Moses' offer. Moses, who was righteous with regard to the golden calf, could not suffer vicariously for the sin of the nation. Rather, only the soul that sinned would endure judgment.

Q: In Judaism, is it possible for someone to take responsibility for another's sins?
A: No. God Himself denied the validity of vicarious atonement in the Torah. When the Jewish people sinned by making the Golden Calf, God wanted to destroy them. Moses their leader loved his people and was willing to die for them. He pleaded with God saying, "Wipe me out and take me instead of them."
God answered, "Whoever sinned against me I will eradicate from My book." His message was clear -- I will not allow you (Moses) to atone for the sins of others. The principle is expressed as ish b'cheito yumas -- "each person will die for their own sin."
God wants us to change to become better people. For the Jew the concept of someone else dying to atone for our sins. We must achieve atonement through teshuva, by changing our actions.
Christians believe that God took pleasure over the death of a human being, such that his death would atone for the sins of countless people for centuries. The Akeidah (Binding of Isaac) teaches us the very idea of one person's death atoning for others is abhorrent to God and forbidden in the Torah.

Borrowed from Gershon b. “There has never been an animal sacrifice in Judaism for intentional sin. The only sacrifice is a contrite heart and a broken spirit. This doesn't mean crying and being sorry. If the heart is right, it means you have repaired the damage done by your sin (restitution) and you have reached a point where you will not do that sin again. At that point, the sin is considered unintentional and you may bring a "sacrifice." It's not possible to reach that level in all areas of our lives.
It says that a "blemished" person cannot bring a sacrifice. A person who has not made restitution and repented from an unintentional sin cannot bring a sacrifice because of what the sacrifice represents.
Atonement is similar to a person who didn't pay their taxes for many years. If they pay all their back taxes as well as resolve to pay them in the future, then they are allowed to bring a covered dish to the annual king's barbeque (Yom Kippur) in order to show they have accepted the rule of the King. If they don't repay their back taxes, their rebellion will be noted and appropriate affliction therapy will be given.
Christians seem to think Jews never had a way to come back from a state of sin. That just isn't the case. We always have. It's told to Cain in Gen 4:7. "If you improve yourself, you will be forgiven." Sounds pretty simple to me. The formula hasn't changed since those times.
It's interesting to note the person the Christians worship is called a Passover lamb. This had nothing to do with sin. It is purely a memory of the exodus. In order to be prophesy, things must match.”

Please remember that the vast majority of Jews never returned to the Promised Land under Cyrus of Persia. They remained in Babylonia. By the time Jesus was born, eighty percent of the world's Jewish community lived outside of the Promised Land, and could not have cared less about the cessation of the animal sacrifices. When the Temple was reestablished, the Jews of Babylonia made an annual financial gift for the maintenance of the Temple, and the land, but never worried that God was not going to forgive them their sins without a blood sacrifice, just as Diaspora Jews do today. And the reason why they had no such fear, was that the Bible makes it explicitly clear that no blood sacrifice is necessary for the forgiveness of sins, or that the exclusive means for the God-man relationship was through the animal sacrifices.

this is what i have so far:

birth plan copies,stopwatch to time contractions,massage oil or lotion,favorite pillow,hair bands for long hair,sugarless candies to keep mouth moist,snacks for hubby during labor(yours will be limited),ipod,pda,puzzle...ect, who to call list (prepaid phone card,not all hospitals allow cellphones),camera,video camera,baby book,toothbrush,toothpaste,mouthwash,brush... gel,face wash,shampoo,conditioner,makeup,moisturizer... maxi-pads(hospital provides some but not enough and their brand),nonperishable snacks for after delivery(dries fruit,nuts,granola bar),champagne or cider to celebrate,extra pair of underwear (maxi pad suitable),nursing bra,night gown,socks,slippers,comfortable outfit to wear home (you will still look 6 months pregnant), going-home outfit for baby(socks,booties,receiving blanket),a few diapers,rear-facing infant car seat
