Breast pump going bad?

How do you know if your breast pump is going bad? I have a Medela PIS Original. It takes me FOREVER to pump. I can pump for almost 45 minutes, and I will get 2-3 oz and my breasts aren't empty. I don't know what to do. I am relaxing, I'm looking a pictures of my son...I just don't know what else to do. How do you know if your pump is going bad?
I've replaced parts...the membranes and the tubes. It does not seem to be losing suction. I wonder if I'm having problems with letdown. UGH!!! My son will be 12 months old soon, and I really want to make it a year BFing....
I send three bottles to the daycare. An 8oz bottle for breakfast, 6oz for lunch, and 8 oz for a snack. Is that too much milk for an 11 month old during the day??

Has it always been this way or just start working differently? My pump was losing suction so I called Medela directly and the rep did some troubleshooting with me and I realized the face plate was not on all the way. Nestle Hypoallergenic formula? Have you heard of it?

I have a friend that is coming to visit from Austria. She asked if I could pick her up some formula for her almost one year old daughter. She said it is Nestle Hypoallergenic? I looked at our local Walmart and CVS and couldn't find it. I looked online at BabiesRus and diapers.com and still couldn't find it. Does anyone know if I can get it here in the states? Maybe it's called something else here?
In case anyone is interested. . .I called Nestle and they have it here, it just called Nestle Good Start Supreme instead of Hypoallergenic. It's the exact same thing.

The only two hypoallergenic formulas that you can buy (readily) here are Nutramigen (by Enfamil) and Alimentum (by Similac). There is also Neocate but I think that's by prescription only. Ask her to bring a can with her.

Does anyone know how much Nestle Good Start formula costs?

I give my son breastmilk exclusively right now, however I only plan to do so til six months. I got some coupons in the mail for $11 and $15 off Good Start formula and I thought I could get a couple cans for the future. Is that a good deal of should I just get Parents Choice?

one of the 12 oz cans is about 11.50-14.00$ depending on what store you go to. one of the big cans is about 22.00-24.00 depending on the store. I love good start, I started with enfamil gentlease when my son was 2 mos old & it was awful, my son had a terrible experience with it, so I never gave him formula again (only breast milk) until he was almost 5 mos old & then I tried good start gentle & it was great, no problems at all!! I thought it was going to be hard to get him on any formula but he drank the good start right away with no problems.
